Call for New TQR Editorial Board Members

We are seeking new energetic and dedicated reviewers to join The Qualitative Report’s (TQR) Editorial Board!

We receive a wide variety of qualitative research articles reporting on a vast range of topic areas from authors living around the world. Manuscripts may reflect scientific, artistic, or critical perspectives. Methods and methodologies may be in the form of traditional ones such as ethnography, grounded theory, and phenomenology or newer and emerging designs like arts-based, autoethnography, collaborative inquiry, and appreciative inquiry. Given this richness of difference, we need an editorial board with a diverse wealth of identities, knowledge, expertise, and experience.

As a TQR Editorial Board Member you would be expected to learn and embrace the journal’s editorial mission (http://nsuworks.nova.edu/tqr/about.html), provide the best guidance and mentorship to our authors, and to review 6 manuscripts per year as part of manuscript development teams lead by senior editors. Based upon the quality of service provided to the journal and its authors, after two years you may be promoted to an editorial position.

If this challenging opportunity interests you, please send an introductory essay and your resume/CV along with a listing of your methodological and content areas of reviewing comfort to tqr@nova.edu.

TQR Surpasses One Million Downloads!

We are pleased to announce The Qualitative Report (TQR), an NSU online qualitative research journal created by Dr. Ron Chenail, has surpassed one million downloads. In 2014 NSU purchased the BEPRESS software to create NSUWorks which allowed TQR to be housed on a platform that provided greater outreach for the journal. Over the last 3 years, TQR surpassed over 1,000,000 downloaded articles, with over 700,000 being downloaded in the last year alone. This equates to readers from around the world downloading 2,000 to 3,000 TQR articles every day
